Volume calculation of Muthurajawela Sand Stock Pile was done using aerial surveying as per the request of Sri Lanka Land Reclamation and Development Corporation in order to obtain the required data in a shorter time. They were initially thinking to make use of traditional ground surveying techniques but the time available was very limited and as an alternative, our team could assist them in gathering the required insight in a very short time using the Drones.
